MDD approved the funds for the Brunson Theater Redevelopment Project

On Thursday, November 29; the Municipal Development District had its special meeting to consider the First Amendment to the Interlocal Agreement with the City of Baytown for the Brunson Theater Redevelopment Project. The City Council recently approved this item at its special meeting that was held on November 19, 2018. This proposed resolution authorizes the First Amendment to the Interlocal Agreement with the City of Baytown to fund the Brunson Theater Redevelopment Project (the "Project").  On July 5, 2018, the MDD approved a contract with the City of Baytown to provide funding of up to $1,324,000 for the Project.  This First Amendment increases the funding by $37,857.60 to add lighting protection, restroom wall demolition, demolition of wall tile and new stucco at the entrance of the building.  With this amendment, the total MDD funding obligation for this Project is $1,361,857.60.  The source of funds will come out of the operating for the FY2019. The MDD considered and approved the item.
