Lynch Arrested and Charge on Possession of Controlled Substance and Evading

On December 26^th at 8:44 p.m., officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 100 block of Schilling. The vehicle slow rolled to a stop at which time the driver exited the vehicle and fled on foot. Additional officers responded to the area and with the assistance of a Baytown K-9 Unit were able to locate the suspect, identified as 22-year-old Cameron Lynch, hiding in the back yard of a residence in the 200 block of Morrell. Lynch was taken into custody and subsequently found to be in possession of marijuana and hydrocodone. Officers contacted the Harris County District Attorney’s Office who accepted charges on Lynch for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Evading on top of an outstanding felony warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
