Parking changes coming to the Arts District

City Council approved removing certain parking restrictions in the Downtown Arts District.  No Parking Zones be removed is located at; the north side of West Sterling from North Commerce to North Whiting, the north side of West Defee a distance of 100 feet east of its intersection with North Gaillard, and the south side of West Pearce from South Whiting to its dead end. The ordinances be modified by removing the following Parking Restrictions; the 2-hour time limit on both sides of Ashbel from West Pearce to West Defee, between 8 AM and 6 PM, every day except Sundays and holidays, the 2-hour time limit on both sides of West Defee from Pruett to North Commerce, between 8 AM and 6 PM, every day except Sundays and holidays, the 2-hour time limit on both sides of Gaillard from West Pearce to West Defee, between 8 AM and 6 PM, every day except Sundays and holidays, the 30-minute time limit on both sides of North Gaillard from
West Defee to West Sterling, between 8 AM and 6 PM, every day except Sundays and holidays,  the 2-hour time limit on both sides of Commerce from West Pearce to West Defee, between 8 AM and 6 PM, everyday except Sundays and holidays, the 2-hour time limit on both sides of Jones from West Pearce to West Defee, between 8 AM and 6 PM, every day except Sundays and holidays, the 2-hour time limit on both sides of Main from Pearce to Defee, between 8 AM and 6 PM, every day except Sundays and holidays, the 2-hour time limit on both sides of West Pearce from South Whiting to South Commerce, between 8 AM and 6 PM, every day except Sundays and holidays, the 2-hour time limit on both sides of West Texas from Whiting to Commerce, between 8 AM and 6 PM, every day except Sundays and holidays, the 2-hour time limit on both sides of Main from Pearce to Sterling, No parking on both sides of West Texas from Main to Whiting, No parking on both sides of West Texas from Main to Whiting, between 10 PM and 6 AM, every day, 15-minute time limit on the north side of West Defee from 100 feet east of North Gaillard to North Ashbel, every day, and 15-minute time limit on the south side of West Defee a distance of 120 feet east of North Gaillard, between 8 AM and 6 PM, every day. The Planning and Zoning Commission approved this recommendation at its meeting on October 16, 2018
