The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Miller and Detective D. Stark reported: The victim was standing outside a car storage lot at the above address when a known suspect approached him and shot him multiple times. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Further investigation identified the suspect as Arandas and, on Saturday (August 10), he was arrested.
