Under Secretary of Defense for Policy John C. Rood met with Jordanian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi today during the Manama Dialogue to reaffirm the strength of the longstanding defense relationship between the United States and the Kingdom of Jordan.
Under Secretary Rood thanked Minister Safadi for Jordan's strong leadership and unwavering commitment to regional security and stability, and for our continued bilateral security partnership.
The leaders discussed a broad range of defense and security issues, including Jordan's contributions to the coalition to defeat ISIS.
