GCCISD released a statement via Facebook. The statement reads; "Councilman Charles Johnson, our Giant Alumni of the Month, sponsored by Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, is a Ross S. Sterling Graduate. He is very active in our community, working with an epidemiology group whose focus is to lower alcohol and drug abuse in the Bay Area. Sitting on many city committees and boards, Charles helps define giving back to a community."
