DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM CST TUESDAY...

The visibility will be a one-quarter mile or less in dense fog, over the portions of south-central and southeast Texas. Motorists should drive with extreme caution and allow additional travel time. Use low beams...reduce driving speed...and allow for plenty of room between you and other cars. You can overtake another vehicle quickly in poor visibilities...so slow down and drive defensively. Be on the lookout for sudden changes in visibility. The patchy nature of the fog will drop visibilities quickly in a short
distance. In addition...visibilities may become severely
restricted near rivers...lakes...bridges...and low lying areas.
