Deputies were able to identify Cole after speaking with a woman who contacted us claiming a man exposed himself to her and her daughter on December 22, 2019, in the 600 block of Oxford. The woman told deputies the man had been following them while on his bicycle and that as he approached she could see he was gratifying himself. The woman said the man on the bicycle rode off after she yelled at him.
According to investigators, upon returning home the woman looked up registered sex offenders in the area and identified Cole as the person who exposed himself.
We are aware of others who have posted similarly about a man fitting Cole's description exposing himself during additional incidents in the Heights. Our investigators are working to determine if Cole is responsible for those cases or any others.
“I’m thankful our deputies were able to apprehend this suspect and ensure the safety of our neighborhoods,” said Constable Alan Rosen. “I’m always so appreciative when the public and law enforcement work together to solve crimes.”
