The City's six (6) spray parks will open for the 2020 summer season on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at 10:00 A.M.
The spray parks are located at Roseland Park, Bergeron Park, McElroy Park, Pelly Park, Central Heights Park, and Jenkins Park. All six Spray Parks are scheduled to remain open through Sunday, November 1, 2020.
Roseland Spray Park, located at 100 Roseland Drive, was the first Baytown Municipal Development District funded project, and first opened on May 1, 2002. This year marks Roseland Park spray park’s 18th season. Roseland Spray Park has a new shade shelter providing shade and UV protection from the hot summer sun. The new shelter was provided by a grant from "Be Well Baytown" program sponsored by ExxonMobil and MD Anderson Hospital.
Bergeron Spray Park, located at 1520 Louisiana, opened in 2011 and has provided endless entertainment for the West Baytown neighborhood during the long hot summer months.
McElroy Spray Park, 4403 Craigmont Street; and Pelly Park Splash Deck, 900 South Main; were both opened in 2012. The spray park located at Central Heights Park, 503 Atlantic Street, opened in 2013. McElroy Spray Park also has a new shade shelter to provide shade and UV protection from the hot summer sun. The new shelter was provided by a grant from "Be Well Baytown" program sponsored by ExxonMobil and MD Anderson Hospital.
The new Walter Jenkins Spray Park, located at 4334 Crosby Cedar Bayou Road, opened in 2017.
All six facilities are open daily for 8 months out of the year from 10:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Admission is free.
