Today, the Houston Police Department released a booking photo of the suspect driver, Christopher Wayne Rogers, 38, that was charged with driving while intoxicated that was accused of slamming into Fire Station 18 on the February 27 incident.
A Houston firefighter was injured on February 27, 2020, when a car slammed into Fire Station 18.
The vehicle crashed through a brick wall causing significant damage to the lounge and kitchen area of the station. Chief Peña went to the hospital with the injured firefighter. NNB News does not know the injuries sustained from the incident.
Rogers was transported to an area hospital and then transported to jail.
