Victims ambushed by people in vehicle which chased them




Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Major Assaults Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspects responsible for an Aggravated Assault – Deadly Weapon.   

On Saturday, January 31, 2020, at approximately 5:30 p.m., the victims were shot in the 11500 block of Briar Forest Drive in Houston, Texas. During the incident, the victims noticed that a vehicle was following them as they were driving.  Suddenly, the vehicle sped past their vehicle, cut them off, and stopped. One of the victims exited the car to see what was wrong. Suddenly, the suspect rolled down the front passenger window and fired two shots. Both victims were struck by the gunfire. The suspects (who were in a gray Dodge Charger) fled the scene. The victims were taken to a local hospital and are expected to survive.  

Suspect description:   Suspect #1 (driver): Black male, with long dreadlocks and a thin mustache.  Suspect #2 (shooter): Black male, 19-23 years old, dark complexion, short unkempt afro, with a sleeve tattoo on his right arm.  The suspect vehicle was a gray Dodge Charger with no rims.
