In the late afternoon of February 16th, Advisor to the President Ivanka Trump and World Bank President David Malpass will convene a We-Fi Ministerial Roundtable with Ministers from around the MENA region with responsibility for entrepreneurship, commerce, finance, or women’s economic empowerment. The leaders will discuss 2-3 key policy opportunities for supporting women entrepreneurs at the country level, share experiences and reinforce opportunities for commitments and collective action. The roundtable will highlight the key issues and state of women economic empowerment in MENA and create a platform for leaders to discuss opportunities for supporting women entrepreneurs, share experiences, and reinforce opportunities for commitments and collective action.
