City Council Approved the Closeout of the Craigmont Lift Station Project

The city council approved the proposed ordinance that will provide the closeout, acceptance and final pay estimate for release of retainage in the amount $30,625.02 to Peltier Brothers Construction, LTD, for the Craigmont Lift Station Project.
 
The scope of work included the installation of pumps, associated piping, wet well liner, control and electrical panels, access road, site fence and structural improvements.  The project is part of the City’s Sanitary Sewer Overflow Elimination program, which increased the capacity of the lift station to provide improved service capacity and reduce overflows during wet weather events.
 
The original contract amount was $625,078.00.  There was one change order in the amount of $3,922.37 for electrical changes resulting in a revised contract amount of $629,000.37. The project was completed for a total amount of $612,500.37 and returns $16,500.00 in unused funds.
