BAYTOWN - Baytown did not see the snow or icy roads, but road conditions were safe for students to return to class today. Before the students returned to class today, the GCCISD spokesperson said; "The crews have checked the road conditions." Black ice may form when the temperature on the roads are at least 32 degrees or below.
The spokesperson continued; Our campuses were open today. In the event of any cancellations, we will send communication to our families and the community as soon as possible.
Some of the City of Baytown has seen 0.86 inches while other areas of Baytown saw 0.48 inches of rain starting at 3:45 a.m. Sunday morning. The rain ended late Sunday night.
