Houston - Firefighters arrived on June 17, 2021, at 3:48 a.m. in the 150 block of Sabine to find an active sprinkler head going off in an apartment unit.
The fire was still smoldering and HFD crews completed extinguishment. A primary and secondary search was completed with no one found, however, two deceased cats were recovered in the apartment. Firefighters conducted property conservation and requested a building inspector to ensure the building was up to code.
HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. The fire is Under Investigation.
