Photo Taken on: July 14, 2021
KEMAH, TEXAS - Just recently on Clen Road, a rubber speed bump near 146 was falling apart.

The Kemah officials replaced that one with an asphalt speed bump.

If you see a speed bump falling apart, please contact the Kemah City Hall at 281-334-1611.

The reason why Kemah has the speed bumps is:

  1. Increased Safety and Consideration for Homeowners. Speed bumps force vehicles to slow down so they help make roads safer for homeowners who may be walking along the street.
  2. Fewer Vehicular Accidents. Speed bumps are very helpful in areas where there are blind spots and tight spaces. ...
  3. Decreased Severity of Injuries in Case of Collision. Speed humps help reduce the severity of injuries that homeowners may sustain in case there is a collision or crash.
