HOUSTON, TEXAS - Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 11230 Southwest Freeway (South U.S. Highway 59) service road that occurred about 2:10 a.m. on September 26.
Charles White-Green (b/m, 23) is charged with murder in the 232nd State District Court. HPD released a previous photo of White-Green and his vehicle.
The victim, Adrian Journet, 31, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives C. Bowling and A. Hernandez reported:
Officers responded to a shooting call to a hotel at the above address and located Mr. Journet inside a room. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The unknown suspect, described only as a black male with short hair, fled the scene before officers arrived. Paramedics were called and pronounced Journet deceased.
Further investigation identified White-Green as a suspect in this case and he was subsequently charged for his role in the shooting.
