The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for an aggravated robbery.
On Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at around 1:00 pm, the complainant had just parked his vehicle at his apartment complex parking lot, located at the 11200 block of S. Wilcrest, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that as he was about to exited his vehicle, an unknown male approached him while armed with a handgun and demanded his property. The suspect then took the complainants wallet and an envelope containing a bank receipt and then fled the scene. The suspect fled the location on foot and was captured on camera getting into a red two-door Hyundai. Houston PD #1209063-21
After a follow-up investigation by detectives, the license plate on the vehicle did not lead to the current owner of the vehicle/
In addition, prior to arriving to the complainants apartment complex, he had stopped by the bank, but it is unknown if that was the reason as to why he was targeted by the suspect.
Suspect description: Black male, 30 to 35 years old, 5’10, 160 to 180 pounds, blue coat, black pants and red shoes.
