Harris County Sheriff's Office Deputies Host First 'Sheriff's Safety Forum' of the Year


HCSO Deputies are hosting the first Sheriff's Safety Forum of 2020. The Sheriff's Safety Forum gives the residents of Harris County an opportunity to meet directly with the deputies that patrol their neighborhoods and communities — where they can voice any concerns they may have.

Crime Stoppers and HCSO needs your help identifying a suspect responsible for a Hit and Run- Failure to Stop and Render Aid- Fatality


Houston Crime Stoppers and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a Hit and Run- Failure to Stop and Render Aid- Fatality. 

On Sunday, January 12, 2019, at approximately 2:50 a.m., the victim Zachary Zane Jackson and a female victim were changing a tire in the 11500 block of the Eastex Freeway Service Road, in Houston Texas.  During this incident, the victims were struck by the suspect’s vehicle (a light colored S.U.V) traveling southbound.   The suspect vehicle failed to maintain a single lane of traffic.  After the impact, the suspect vehicle fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim.  As a result of the incident, Zachary Zane Jackson was pronounced deceased on the scene. The female victim did not sustain any injuries from the collision.        

Crime Stoppers may pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and/or arrest of the suspect in this case.
