On February 06, 2020, Houston Police South Gessner and VCD officers said, an "adult male in a motorized scooter was on the sidewalk when the driver's pickup left the road and hit him, tearing the scooter apart." The incident happened at 9:25 p.m. in the 5800 block of Bellaire.
