Garth Road getting widening soon to 6-lanes. The city is trying to cut the red tape and work with other agencies to make the project happen.
On Thursday at the city council meeting, the city council will consider authorizing a professional service agreement with Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc., for the Garth Road Widening Project.
This allows the Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc., to survey, environmental services, design, and right-of-way services for the Preliminary Engineering Report for the project and will not exceed $715,083,00.
This project was discussed recently at the city council work session in September. Garth Road will expand the lanes between IH-10 to SH-146.
NNB will update this once the city council approves this item and the duration of the progress of the project.
