Andrew Jenkins arrested and charged

On Monday, August 26^th at 12:54 a.m., a uniformed Baytown Police officer was inside Walgreens, located at 3920 Garth Road, and viewed 31-year-old Andrew Jenkins put a wine bottle inside his pants.  Jenkins exited the store without paying for the wine.  Jenkins was told he was under arrest but evaded the officer on foot.  Jenkins was taken into custody shortly after running.  The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted and evading charges were accepted.
