District 1 candidate Michael Palmer dropped out due to medical issue

News Now Baytown can confirm that Michael Palmer the current chief editor has dropped out of the CoB city council campaign due to ongoing medical issues.

He met privately on Saturday, August 17, 2019; with Mayor Brandon Capetillo and current City Council member Laura Alvarado. Ms. Alvarado and the Mayor did advise Michael that, it would be in the best interest to take a step back and deal with the ongoing issue. Michael did not release any information about the medical issue, but he did release a statement via Facebook on Saturday.





It is uncertain when he will run again, but we will be the first to find out if he does. Michael will remain the chief editor for News Now Baytown.
