[BAYTOWN] On Monday, November 18, 2019, the city council approved the proposed ordinance awards the installation of a new power pole, Closed Caption Television ("CCTV") cabinet, CCTV cameras and a guardrail meeting Texas Department of Transportation's specifications to Selex-ES, Inc., a Leonardo Company, in the amount of $96,250.00. Selex-ES, Inc will utilize the Texas Department of Information Resources contract #DIR-TSO-3788.
This installation is for mounting Automatic License Plate Recognition systems that are currently utilized by the Baytown Police Department to provide data integration between the Texas Department of Public Safety weigh stations managed by the Intelligent Imaging Systems and the Houston High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Area's Enterprise Operation Center.
