BAYTOWN - On January 11th at 3:25 p.m., officers were dispatched to a disturbance at a residence in the 4500 block of Chaparral. Upon arrival, officers contacted the complainant who advised her ex-boyfriend, identified as 18-year-old Julian Chavez of Baytown, had arrived at her house and had tried to enter the residence without the permission of the complainant. After the complainant refused to allow him inside, Chavez reportedly broke out windows to the residence before walking away. When the complainant opened the front door to try to capture the video of Chavez, he rushed the door and forced his way inside the residence. At this point, the complainant was on the line with 911 Operators and when Chavez heard the complainant describing to the 911 Operator what was happening he took the phone from her, disconnecting the 911 call before fleeing the scene in his vehicle.
Officers located Chaves a short time later in his vehicle at which time officers conducted a stop of the vehicle and placed Chavez under arrest. Chavez was transported to that Baytown Jail where he was booked and charged with Interfering with Emergency Request and Criminal Trespass.
