On December 31, 2019, a 19-yr-old male Elwood Palmer was riding an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) and struck a parked car. Palmer has been hospitalized since and was pronounced deceased on Jan 2. On January 04, 2019, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez sent out a statement and he said, "condolences go out to his family."
ATV-related incidents have long been common as many take to the popular vehicles. ATVs can be fun for riders, but they can also pose dangers.
Nationally, hundreds die and thousands injured because of ATV-related injuries. I recall several incidents the Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to in 2019. We responded to this latest one at 21700 Manitou Falls Ln.
