Road rage in Houston leads to a shooting on North Freeway


Houston Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Major Assaults Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for an Aggravated Assault – Deadly Weapon.   
 
On Friday, January 17, 2020, at approximately 6:20 p.m., the victim was shot while driving in the 4400 block of the North Freeway in Houston, Texas. During the incident, the suspect and victim were involved in a road rage event. The suspect produced a firearm and shot the victim in the chest. The suspect (who was in a silver, newer model family vehicle or SUV) fled the scene headed south on the North Freeway. The victim was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive.  
 
Suspect description:  Hispanic male, light complexion, 17-19 years old, skinny build, with straight and messy medium length hair.
