Violent Purse Snatching Caught on Camera in W. Houston


Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspects responsible for a robbery with bodily injury.

On Wednesday, December 4, 2019 around 10:44 am, the female complainant had parked her car in a business strip parking lot at 9318 Bellaire, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that an unknown male approached her and immediately snatched her purse from around her arm. The complainant stated that she held onto her purse when she fell to the ground as the suspect continued to drag her across the parking lot towards a light colored Toyota Camry. The suspect then punched the complainant in the back of the head and was able to wrestle the purse away.  The suspect got into the back passenger seat of the Toyota Camry and the vehicle sped away.
