Earlier today, Governor Greg Abbott made a critical decision that made the history for the State of Texas. "I want the Texas Schools to remain closed for the remainder of the school year."

The Superintendent said in his statement
Susan Passmore the Director of Communications released the following statement: "Following the Governor’s executive order, Goose Creek CISD will be closed for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. Administrators are creating a plan to allow campus staff to enter the schools to pick up their personal items, and then we will set a time for students to pick up their belongings. We will continue to provide online instruction and packets. The final report card will be issued at the end of the semester."
The senior prom was lightly discussed at the previous board meeting. The topic is currently being considered sometime before Christmas of the next school year.
