According to the White House today in the press briefing, the federal officials want the schools that are already closed to remain closed for the remainder of the school year.
Earlier today, NNB News Chief Editor Michael Palmer asked the public information officer of GCCISD, "according to what was said at the White House earlier today, will GCCISD remain closed for the remainder of the school year? If so, what is the district doing to allow the students to gather whatever is in their lockers? And when is the final report card coming out?"
She said; "We don’t know any of this yet. We have so many things to work out, but we probably will send something out tomorrow."
Governor Greg Abbott is expected to give remarks at the press briefing on Friday.
