On April 19th at 10:56 a.m., officers were dispatched to a report of past disturbance at an apartment in the 2700 block of Ward Road. Upon arrival officers contacted the complainant and learned the previous night, at approximately 9:00 p.m., her ex-boyfriend, had stopped by her apartment unannounced to apparently drop off some diapers to for their child. Upon answering the door the complainant told the suspect to leave as he was not supposed to be on the property, however, the suspect instead entered the apartment and attempted to walk pass the complainant in an attempt to get to their child. As the complainant stepped in front of the suspect to stop him, the suspect grabbed the complainant around her neck and pointed a hand gun at her while making threats to harm her, fortunately, the suspect fled the apartment without carrying out those threats. Officers contacted the Harris County District Attorney’s Office and advised them of the facts of the case and charges of Aggravated Assault on a Family Member and Felon in Possession of a Firearm are pending on the suspect.
