As we continue to navigate through the nine weeks of online instruction our students are receiving, we want to make you aware of the plans to address the needs of our students during summer instruction. If your child has opted not to complete assignments during this time, he or she will have received an incomplete for the fifth six weeks or on the upcoming progress report. Any student who has received an incomplete, which will convert to a failing grade, will be required to attend summer school. Summer school will run July 20 – 31, 2020. We ask that you monitor your child’s grades and participation in all classes.
Summer school will be hosted at each campus in the district. Students who fail a core course may also receive an invitation to summer school to address any foundational skills they need support with prior to the start of school. This should help prepare them for the upcoming school year. If you have any concerns, please reach out to your child's teacher or administrator.
