BAYTOWN - Citizens of Baytown woke up to high winds, heavy rain, and a strong force of lightning. According to Harris County Flood Control, Baytown received 0.08 inches of rain today. At 5:12 a.m., Goose Creek @ Baker Road has recorded 1.0 inch of rainfall in 15 minutes and at 5:26 a.m. Goose Creek @ SH 146 has recorded 1.0 inch of rainfall in 15 minutes.
The storm quickly moved out of the area and brought partly cloudy and plenty of sunshine.
