On June 23rd at 5:58 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 4900 block of Garth Road. Upon stopping the vehicle officers contacted the driver, a 43 year old Baytown man, and the passenger who initially lied about her name but was eventually identified as 41 year old Lupe Navejar. During the course of the stop officers conducted a consensual search of the vehicle during which they located methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine and prescription pills, which were all found in Lupe’s belongings. Lupe was placed under arrest and transported to the Baytown Jail where she was booked and charged through the Harris County District Attorney’s Office with 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance. The driver was released at the scene without charges
