City Council Approved the Baytown Crime Control and Prevention District Fiscal Year 2020-21 Proposed Budget

BAYTOWN - The city council approved the CCPD 2020-21 Budget.

As set forth in state law, the City Council must approve or reject the budget adopted by the CCPD Board at least 30 days before the beginning of the fiscal year. The City Council may not amend the budget as presented by the CCPD Board. If the City Council rejects the budget, the City Council and the CCPD Board shall meet and together amend and approve the budget before the beginning of the fiscal year.

The CCPD Board adopted the budget on June 9, 2020, and the City Council held a public hearing regarding this budget at its meeting on July 9, 2020.
