City Council TABLED the Fourth Amendment to the Agreement for Professional Services and Employment for Richard Davis

City Council Tabled the Fourth Amendment to the Agreement for Professional Services and Employment as City Manager with Richard Davis until the next council meeting due to concerns of lack of communication and posting of the actual contract of Rick Davis. In the contract, Mr. Davis would get a 3% pay raise. The contract will be posted on the city website before the next meeting.

On May 14, 2015, the City Council selected Mr. Davis as the new City Manager.  On the same date, the Council also authorized an agreement with Mr. Davis to serve as the City Manager of the City of Baytown. On July 9, 2020, the City Council completed the City Manager's most recent yearly performance evaluation and requested that an item be included on this agenda in order for Council to take action regarding an amendment to the City Manager's contract.
