Harris County DA Office Accepted Charges against Eddie Edwards

 On July 20^th officers were dispatched to the Motel 6 located in the 4900 block of Interstate 10 in reference to a suspicious vehicle/person. Upon arrival, officers located the vehicle in question with two males sitting inside the vehicle and two males standing outside the vehicle. Officers contacted the subjects and subsequently ran a computer check on them and learned one of the subjects, 26-year-old Eddie Edwards of Baytown, had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for No Driver’s License.  While placing him under arrest officers located a loaded handgun tucked in his pants. Edwards was subsequently transported to the Baytown Jail where he was booked on the warrant and also charged with Felon in Possession of a Firearm through the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. The other three males were released without charges.
