On July 24th at 2:01 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Village Lane Apartments in reference to an attempt to locate a 21-year-old female who was reported missing out of Dayton. Upon arrival officers located the missing person sitting in a vehicle in the parking lot along with a male, identified as 23-year-old Brannon Brewer of Channelview. The female was unharmed and was with the male on her own accord. However, during their investigation officers found that Brewer, who is a convicted felon, was in possession of a 9mm handgun. As a result Brewer was placed under arrest and transported to the Baytown Jail where he was booked and charged through the Harris County District Attorney’s Office with being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
