On September 15th at 1:09 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 7400 block of Garth Road. Officers recognized the driver as 21 year old Dionte Manning of Baytown, who officers knew to have an outstanding felony warrant for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Upon stopping the car, due to the nature of the warrant and the fact the vehicle was occupied by several individuals, officers conducted a high risk stop on the vehicle. Dionte was taken into custody and the three passengers were detained and checked for warrants. A male passenger, identified as 23 year old Zavier Wright, had an outstanding felony warrant out of Harris County for Unlawful restraint. During a subsequent search of the vehicle officers found two stolen handguns and a quantity of marijuana. As a result of these items being found in the vehicle the remaining two passengers, identified as 17 year old Angel Garcia and 25 year old Brittany Reynolds, were also placed under arrest and all subjects were transported to the Baytown Jail where they were booked on the following charges.
