City Council authorized the interlocal agreement with the Baytown Municipal Development District (MDD) for expenditures up to $50,000 for District-wide landscape improvements.
The funds are requested to enable the Parks and Recreation Department to address landscaping and irrigation needs in parks, thoroughfares, and other public facilities. Parks staff will consider the possibility of adding public art to medians; however, no location(s) or art have been identified at this time.The MDD Board approved the funding at its meeting held on September 3, 2020.
Funding for this project will be available October 1, 2020.
