City Council Authorized an Interlocal Agreement with the MDD for expenditures for Lighting the Hollaway/Jenkins Wooded Trail

City Council authorized an interlocal agreement with the Municipal Development District for expenditures up to $150,000 for lighting improvements on the wooded section of the Cary Bayou Trail between JC Hollaway Park and Jenkins Park.  Funding for the project will come from Unforeseen/New Initiatives in the MDD budget.

The project will add 20 concrete poles with LED lights along the wooded trail from JC Hollaway Park to Jenkins Park.  The project will be managed by the Parks and Recreation Department.

The MDD Board approved the funding at its meeting held on September 3, 2020.

Funding will be available on October 1, 2020.
