BAYTOWN - On Wednesday night around 8:15 P.M., Baytown Fire Department responded to the 1000 Block of Carver Street in reference to a tenant poured Clorox and another chemical down a bathroom toilet which resulted in a chemical cloud.
9 tenants were evacuated as others were asked to shelter-in-place. Baytown Fire Department made a level-1 entry into the suspected apartment to resolve the incident.
The property manager and maintenance were called to make the incident scene.
It is currently unknown if anyone was injured in this incident.
The Fire Department has declined to comment about the incident (for now).
