BPD Responded to Krogers in a Report of Road Rage

On December 30th at 5:11 p.m., officers responded to a report of road rage in the 1700 block of North Alexander. Upon arrival, officers contacted the parties involved in the parking lot of Kroger where they learned that one of the subjects nearly struck the other subject’s vehicle while driving on North Main. This caused the driver of the vehicle that was almost struck to start following the other vehicle, reportedly cutting it off several times and eventually following it to Kroger. Once at Kroger the driver of the vehicle that was nearly struck exited his vehicle and approached the other vehicle and had a verbal altercation with that driver. The incident did not escalate beyond verbal and there was no actual accident as neither car was struck. The parties were both counseled and separated. No further police action required.
