Today, I have briefly spoken to City Manager Davis about the ongoing issue of COVID-19. He said; "The City of Baytown continues to urge all of our citizens to follow CDC guidelines and remain vigilant and cautious. Our emergency responders also continue to offer assistance to those severely impacted by the virus, and our Fire Department is a registered provider of the vaccine. We anticipate receiving a supply of one of the vaccines granted emergency use authorization within the coming days."
He lightly touched on the new stimulus package that was recently approved by Congress and he said; "Beyond my hope that all prudent measures can be taken to ensure our economy remains resilient and continues to grow, I haven’t taken a position on the recent stimulus proposal"
