Illegal Street Race Spotted in the Area of Garth and West Baker

BAYTOWN - On December 22, 2020, around 8:35 p.m., multiple units for the Baytown Police responded to the area of Garth and West Baker in regards to an illegal street race that were involving trucks. 

According to a statement from Lt Steve Dorris; "we had one report of drag racing in the area of Garth and West Baker involving trucks. However, when the officers arrived in the area it appears they were unable to locate the vehicles," he continued, "This is not unique to this time of year, this our stance year-round for every area of the city. If anyone witnesses drag racing they are encouraged to call the police so we can attempt to address it."
