Department-issued Taser used on Issacs when Evading Arrest

On December 28th at 10:02 a.m., officers responded to a trespasser call at the Circle T Food Mart in the 1700 block of North Main in which a white male was reportedly yelling at and threatening other customers. The male was known by officers to be Bryan Issacs and was known to have an outstanding warrant out of Harris County for False Report to a Police Officer. As officers arrived in the area they observed Isaacs in the parking lot across the street from the store where they attempted to make contact with him. Upon seeing the officers, Isaacs fled on foot as officers chased after him. After a short foot chase officers were able to catch Isaacs and take him to the ground, at which time Isaacs began actively resisting the officer's attempts to handcuff him. One of the officers deployed his department-issued Taser which was effective in incapacitating Isaacs long enough for officers to take him into custody. Isaacs was ultimately transported to the Baytown Jail where he was charged with Evading Arrest on Foot on top of the outstanding warrant.
