Houston Firefighters arrived at 2105 Brittmoore within six minutes at 9:44 a.m. this morning, July 9, 2021. and found a CenterPoint Energy transformer on fire. A defensive attack was requested with multiple units responding including HFD Hazmat and Rehab. Emergency responders from Pearland, Community, and Stafford also assisted.
Update: The shelter-in-place for this incident has been lifted and the fire has been controlled. Crews are using foam to ensure the fire is completely out and does not re-ignite.
