On February 26th at 6:22 p.m., officers observed a subject at the McDonalds in the 7000 block of Garth who they recognized by sight as 39-year-old Jimmy Stevens of Baytown, and who they knew had an outstanding felony warrant for his arrest out of Harris County for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Officers contacted Mr. Stevens and took him into custody at which time they also located approximately 12 grams of methamphetamine in a backpack he was carrying. Mr. Stevens was transported to the Baytown Jail and booked on the outstanding warrant and additionally charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance through the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.

Bankhead charged for Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver through the Harris County District Attorney’s Office
On February 25th at 4:00 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle in the area of Decker and Market Loop Road. Upon stopping the vehicle officers contacted the driver, identified as Rapheal Bankhead Jr., who immediately stepped out of the vehicle upon being stopped. Mr. Bankhead appeared extremely nervous as officers noticed in plain view, in the vehicle, marijuana residue. During a subsequent search of the vehicle officers located two plastic baggies, which contained several tablets of Ecstasy, approximately 25 grams. Mr. Bankhead was placed under arrest and subsequently transported to the Baytown Jail where he was booked on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver through the Harris County District Attorney’s Office

Yolanda Nichols arrested due to an outstanding felony warrant out of Harris County for Possession of a Controlled Substance
On January 30th at 3:47 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Lee Drive in which the passenger, identified as 63-year-old Yolanda Nichols of Baytown, was found to have an outstanding felony warrant out of Harris County for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Ms. Nichols was placed under arrest and transported to the Baytown Jail where she was booked on the outstanding warrant.
