CIty Council approved the purchases of police emergency vehicles

[BAYTOWN] On Monday, November 18, 2019, the city council approved the ordinance that authorizes the purchase of fifteen Chevrolet Police Vehicles, related emergency equipment, and installation from Ed Morse, LLC., d/b/a Freedom Chevrolet, through the Tarrant County Cooperative Agreement #2019-014, in the amount of $791,292 for the Police Department.

These are replacement vehicles that will be outfitted with the appropriate emergency equipment and technology to effectively serve our citizens.  Eleven vehicles are being purchased using budgeted funds from the Police Department FY 2019-20 budget and four are being purchased using budgeted funds from the Baytown Crime Control and Prevention District.
