On January 21st at 10:04 a.m., officers and detectives were conducting follow up investigation to a stabbing that had occurred earlier in the day and in doing so contacted several individuals at a residence in the 1400 block of Greenwood. Those individuals were identified as 39-year-old Amanda Brown, who originally gave a fictitious name and 18-year-old Remington Turman. Turman was arrested for numerous outstanding local warrants, while Brown was arrested for two felony warrants out of Harris County for Possession of a Controlled Substance as well as several local warrants. She was also charged with Failure to Identify for lying about her identity.
